The FM 060 is an intermittently operating rotary machine for the highest performance. With its high-quality technology, it is suitable for producing all types of side-sealed pouches: 3-side sealed pouches, 4-side sealed pouches, bottom gusseted pouches, Doypack and Deltapack pouches, contour and membrane pouches. These can be filled with products of different consistencies.

FM 060 series form, fill and seal pouch machine is tailor designed and constructed in Germany. This can be supplied in conjunction with the SN auto-splicer (as pictured above), together with various coding and printing systems including thermal transfer,inkjet, laser printing. This machine range uses quick release mechanisms to ensure a quick and easy product change-over.

The film feed system incorporated on the FM060 machine allows for various films widths to be used to produce a pouch from 40mm(wide) x 50mm(high) up to 220mm (wide) x 250mm (high). The loading centring and unloading of the film reels is all automatically controlled. This ensures the position of the film reel and the folding of the pouches remains constant.

The FM060 machine is capable of producing up to 100 pouches / min in simplex or 200 pouches per min running duplex.  We can produce standup pouches with or without a zipper unit and gas flushing < 1 % residual oxygen. All film types can be used from foil barrier laminates to paper-based, mono and recyclable films.

To ensure fast change-overs can be achieved, most components have been fitted with quick release handles and can be operated without the use of tools. This relates to the side sealing/cooling beams, bottom sealing beams as well as the central carousel segments.

Cleaning of the FM060 machine has been made easier by minimising the obstructions on the machine table, providing split auger bowls for powder filling and CIP cleaning systems for liquid filling. All components used within the machine are stainless steel and certified to EU standards

As with all SN machines, filling can be achieved using, slide tubes, augers and cup dosers for dry products. Flow meter, servo and piston pumps for liquid products. It is possible to provide multi-filling systems for a single machine therefore multi-component filling is easily possible.
